‘DNA Mein Gandhi Ji’ is a story weaved around the conflicts of values and beliefs, with the most essential undercurrent of the fact that at the end of the day, the common mass is the ruler, the decision-maker, the change-maker and is actually not so common, and all they need to do is realize their power. In the film, Manav and Rachna, who works in an ad agency are the youths of India who are disappointed by the system and its working and they don’t accept the power play, their Fathers Khairatilal and Roshanlal respectively are two complete poles apart personalities and ethics who have a past together that’s affecting the presence of their children. The system is obviously wicked and frustrating and people sometimes suffer but nobody takes a stand. But funnily we forget what Gandhiji said – Be the change you want to see in the world and the core values embedded in us by him – Satya and Ahimsa, always win in the end. Driven by good values and morals, just like Gandhiji we have to believe people that truth always triumphs
