Dota 2 was released in 2013. It is an online multiplayer combat arena video game in which 10 players divided in two teams strive to collectively destroy the “Ancient”, the enemy’s team, while defending their own. The game is played thanks to a traditional real-time strategy controls. Each of the game’s 121 playable characters are called “heroes”. During the last WESG championship tournament on Dota 2, TNC Predator won with a prize pool of US $890,000.
